- He has been Associate Professor, assigned to the Knowledge Area of Political Science and Administration, of the Department of Political Science, Public International Law and Procedural Law of the University of Malaga (2005/2007).
- Professor-Tutor of Constitutional Law I and II and Administrative Law at UNED (2004/06).
- He has been Professor of the Master of Legal Practice at the Malaga Bar Association.
- He has held the positions of Technician in the Service for the Protection of Minors of the Ministry of Emigration and Social Action of the Junta de Extremadura.
- Legal Advisor to the General Technical Secretariat of the Consejería of Emigration and Social Action.
- Head of the Heritage Section of the General Technical Secretariat of the Consejería of Economy and Finance.
- Head of the Legal Regulations and Reports Section of the General Technical Secretariat of the Consejería of Economy and Finance and Head of the Legislation, Programming and Administration Service in the General Technical Secretariat of the Consejería of Economy and Finance of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura (1988 to 1995).
- He has been Secretary-Controller in the City Councils of Gaucín and Istán (1996/1998), Secretary and Lawyer of the Association of Municipalities of the Western Costa del Sol (1998 to 2007) and between 2007 and 2015 he was the Head of the Advisory Legal Services of the Marbella City Council.
- Blas Infante Award, X edition, of the Autonomous Community for his work “Special review procedures in tax matters, with special study of its processing in the local Administration”.
- He has given innumerable lectures, conferences and written several articles in El Consultor de los Ayuntamientos, always related to Administrative Law.
- He has passed the research sufficiency test in the Financial and Tax Law program of the University of Distance Education with the qualification of outstanding (2006).
- He has been practicing law since 2015 in Guerrero-Abogados, being the Director of the administrative law area of the firm.
- He is currently a Deputy of the Governing Board of the Malaga Bar Association.
